Possible to have Mario Sunburn have a CO-OP mod?

I want to play Super Mario Sunburn with a friend in CO-OP mode. Is it possible to do that?I am talking about this CO-OP mod: https://allreds.itch.io/super-mario-sunshine-multiplayerAny responses would be appreciated!

Sunburn v1.9 has an emulator only co-op splitscreen where you play as mario and Luigi. It's currently private since it has a single bug. Once that single bug is fixed it will be public. I'll likely release this build along with the randomizer update so stay tuned for sunburn v2.0
