TF2C "Dropper"

Question

All right, I get it, I'm needy. I'm annoying. But I'm an experimental guy okay? I was wondering how you could give yourself a weapon, like say a Flare Gun, or a Pistol. Someone told me before that I need a source plugin, but I couldn't find where that was. Once again, any help would be nice.

Naw, no need for that, TF2C happens to have a function "built-in" to give yourself weapons.

Use the command give_econ # (set sv_cheats 1 to use it!) to give yourself any weapon, where the # is the weapon's items_game.txt ID (a file in tf2c_misc_dir.vpk that basically tells the game what weapons there are)

If you wanted to give yourself a Flare Gun, it'd be give_econ 39 for instance. Stock Scout Pistol, give_econ 23. One of the new weapons like the R.P.G? give_econ 3001.

You can find most of these numbers in items_game.txt if you extract it, and it works for mod-added weapons too!
