What's with the sudden boycotting

Question

Why are there like 3 posts for the banning of NSFW spraysWouldn't it be easier if points were just not awarded for making sprays?Or enable hiding NSFW by default????

deadman22 · Answer

People just want something to bitch about

MeatwadMeatwad · Answer

No points award wouldn't solve the problem of them being there to begin with. The more prolific posters obviously have plenty of points so they post primarily for likes instead or for the hell of it.They're best off getting removed from here

Mr.pep · Answer

This isn't "sudden" people have wanted them off for years. They're uninspired, almost always someone else's art ripped from a site or something, take around 5 minutes to make, make the website less money and are just annoying to see on the featured page when other stuff with WAY more effort gets left behind. There is a source engine page. Just move them there.

Meulanie · Answer

The only actual use I can see them having in game is distraction, and even then like 10+ sprays a week (being generous here) seems a bit much. So, they add nothing to the game while other sprays can give info or be *le funni*, they share the same problems signs have of unnecessarily making the age rating go higher, and they force people who dn't want to see them go to casual.as others pointed out, they are spammy, take no effort and take space in the "featured" section that could be used by actually great mods.saying "just use the nsfw filter" is the same as saying "what do you mean there's a game breaking bug when you do this, just don't do it".If you want to look at porn just go to genshin's mods

tsimelprup · Answer

if they allow nsfw sprays i WILL come to gamebanana purely to fap to the preview images of them

Lecommunard · Answer

Fr what's even the point of using those sprays apart from "look I have femboy furry porn on my spray im so quirky and funny!" when in reality is just exposing your weird ass porn fantasies+this shit has nothing to do with tf2

Superfin288 · Answer

Because I browse mods to BROWSE MODS, not LOOK AT PORN. And I play games to... PLAY GAMES, not LOOK AT PORN. I don't want to join a game to have fun and be greeted by your crippling addictions. Not to mention, there are actually kids who play this game.

Ghost2055523 · Answer

I have a question myself: Does a normal person think 'oh gee, I really want to spray NSFW art in a first person shooter!'? No. They don't. People want to play the video game, not to know about your crippling porn addiction.

Mr.enderman 22 · Answer

its mostly fearmongering, someone named psyduck also did the same thing, he tried to make points but it honestly sounds like he was being a toxic 8 year old

RedMush · Answer

Q: "What's with the sudden boycotting".A: post-nut clarity.

Amaruq · Answer

Because enabling the provided NSFW filter is more effort than whining, so they choose the latter.

F0ZART · Answer

No? This thing shouldn't be in tf2 in the first place, and we in no way should support such "creators" that take no time to spam such stuff. Go learn how to make sprays if you really want porn in tf2 lmao

ImightMod · Answer

I do not understand the appeal behind letting people in a server know about what you masturbate to, if you want to see porn when you are in a game, you are not funny or quirky you are just a porn addict.
