Can the glow from Roy's sword be removed?

Question

Is it possible to remove the glow around Roy's sword that appears when he attacks?I was wondering if it's possible to remove because I see the glow in the shape of Roy's sword whenever I use mods that have a different sword to him

Yes it is possible. Just open effect/fighter/roy/ef_roy.eff (whether modded or vanilla) in Switch Toolbox, go to Output.pctl > Emitter Sets > P_RoySwordFlare and set Color 0 and Color 1 for both swordflare1 and sword1 to black (000000FF) and save.
