Is there a way to play without the disk in?

I'm considering getting this game for my PC and Steam Deck and I want to legitimately buy and install this game using the disks. Thing is, I don't want to need the disk in to play the game. Is there any workaround?

theres a ‘Tsonic_win.exe’ with NoCD & Win10+ patch
if im not mistaken, PCGamingWiki contains that EXE
