̶A̶n̶i̶m̶a̶l̶ Crossing Mod

Question

I have a plan for a mod. I want to replace all the animal villagers with humans like the player. It looks like it would be possible because when you enter a dream island you can see all the players who inhabit the island when it was uploaded is now a NPC. now one obvious way i see about going about this is to replace or redirect ALL animal model files to players BUT that looks like it would take EONS to replace all of them. another thing would be to make them still be unique and wear and able to receive clothes from the player. For them to have randomized clothes would be a plus.think this is possible?

This is possible, but would take a very large amount of work if you want all villagers to be unique. You could theoretically make a bot do all the work for you (randomizing clothes and changing files) but I don't have much experience with that. It sounds like a fun challenge though, and I would be happy to change your current villagers and/or dream villagers to humans, or just any others you request.
