Ambient sound looping and following player?

A Question for Half-Life

This Question was answered and a solution was chosen.
I am trying to add an ambience to a level I'm working on and I want it to play all around the map and loop but I'm having a hard time making this possible. Is there a way to do it?

EDIT: I would also like to know how to fix the changelevel trigger. Mine teleports me to inside the floor of my next level when I want it to spawn me from the ceiling falling to the ground.

    Loop audio files contain "Cue". This cue tells the engine where to loop the sound.


    With the GoldWave, you can add cue to an audio file.

    For example:

    "sound/ambience/labdrone2.wav"


    Position: The part where the loop begins.

    Time To Next: The loop ends in this part and starts again from the Position part.

    Name: You can give the name you want.

    To add Cue:

    1-)  Select the "Cues" button.

    2-)  If you want the sound to loop through from start to finish, select "Beginning of the file" and click "OK".


    Then save the sound and try it in the game.

    There's a flag to make it play everywhere, you can place 4 or more of these on all corners of the map to simulate stereo sound.

    The placement of your info_landmark is important, check it's not stuck in the floor or something. The position of the player relative to the origin map's info_landmark will be his position relative to the destination map's info_landmark.
