QT; I want to mod the difficulty cap, but how??

Okay, I want to make this clear, I know how to change the difficulty in game lol I just want to mod the game to lower down the difficulty and basically fix the hot mess that hot wheels had done for the difficulty cap on medium mode :/ I wanna enjoy the challenge not get frustrated by it. So if anybody knows how to do this - please I just really wanna change it ;-; another thing i have the Nintendo switch version.
