Jumping Jack sound

A Question for Team Fortress 2

Question Solved

This Question was answered and a solution was chosen.
I've replaced the sound with https://gamebanana.com/sounds/39457, but it doesn't play and it says in console "Failed to load sound ")player\taunt_jackhammer_loop.wav", file probably missing from disk/repository", what does it mean? It's not playing even when I make a folder in sound labeled ")player". I just want to listen to Wario's Gold Mine while I jackhammer!

    Check the original sound you wish to replace in tf2's files and make sure it's a .wav, also, you might want to copy and paste your config & custom folders somewhere else so that you can verify local files.

    To do so, delete your tf folder, go to your steam library and right-click tf2, click 'Properties', then click the 'local files' tab. Once you're there, look for 'verify local files' and click that.

    After you've finished, delete the new 'config' and 'custom' folders before replacing them with yours. If all is well, you'll have fixed the file, and can now use it.

    If, even after perfectly following these instructions, the mod doesn't work, then it's one of two things;
