So if CMC+ 8 is using MUGEN sys., can you do this?

Hello again everyone, I'm pretty sure I shall be known as the "question spammer" but whatever. I actually have this question due to a certain part in one answer to my previous question that I have failed to notice until after it was solved (by the way, THANK YOU GUYS for answering my previous question as well as you guys did and not trashing it). It is the part where JustAnAverageFan mentioned that the new CMC+ shall be made by the M.U.G.E.N. Engine. Okay, enough with the talking, now I'll get to the question: Can the new CMC+ possibly at least run characters programmed specifically for M.U.G.E.N.?

I doubt it. A MUGEN character is different from a CMC character. Like the sprites for a CMC character are all contained in a BIN file were as MUGEN uses SFF files. Just as an example. I'm pretty sure others who made both MUGEN and CMC characters would say things better than I would.

I never said that it was going to use the M.U.G.E.N. engine, I said that it was going to be an open build like M.U.G.E.N.

There will be v8 of cmc I said that 7.2 was the end but good to have if the new version of cmc comes out on 25 as a Christmas gift xd

WHat they meant by mugen is that you can 100% customize your build, even remove crusty vanilla chars like krystal or petey if wanted

lol no the guy was just making a comparison due to how it'll work in concept being similar to how mugen does thingsthe future "open build" is going to be a build of crusade completely devoid of any content aside from two handpicked characters, one or two stages and pretty much nothing else aside from the engine and the files it requires to function fully like it should.In other words, a blank slate of a build to which you can add any character you want, including both vanilla characters like Mario and custom modded characters like Silver and whatnot.This is similar to how when you download MUGEN from the Elecbyte site, it comes with KFM as the only character, extra slots for other characters you want to add, two stages and pretty much nothing else.That's what he meant xD
