Is it possible to change Insta-Shield sprites? - A Question for Sonic 3 A.I.R..

I want to change insta-shield sprites to sonic advance sprites, but I don't even know if that's possible or how to do it

    Hello, it's totally possible, maybe a bit tricky.

    You need to know how to renderhook, and spend some time in finding the object, its update_address and the properties that have the insta-shield animation play.

    The insta-shield animation is made by the same object that makes the splash in water, the numbers when you drown, the skidding dust and the spindash dust to name a few, so you'll have to get the correct set of properties to not accidentally change all animations.
