   Hello everybody! 

   I don’t know how many of you have noticed it, but the water in the game somehow cuts off the models, or the textures themselves on grass and reeds models. Grass and reeds are visible only under water, but not above water.
   I tried to find a similar question on the Internet, but to my surprise, it seems as if no one was paying any attention to this problem, as if it was normal.
   How can this be fixed, if at all possible? Maybe someone has already fixed this and wants to share the patch?

    I'm pretty sure it's a limitation of the engine. The water uses a bit of visleaf fuckery to optimize it.



    I didn't find anything overtly obvious in the console commands to change it, so I could be wrong, but according to the VDC's page on Detail Props, they cannot cross the surface of water full-stop.

    Can you attach an archive with some of the models or assets used so I can play around with it? Water's always been one of the most wacky Source map bits, so without some further self-investigation I can't do much.
