Question Solved

This Question was answered and a solution was chosen.
Heya guys!, what's up today?. Well i wanna ask you guys a question, how do you change the sprites style like the shadow over sonic mod without color distortion cuz when i edit the sprite of sonic and i test it choosing sonic, sonic looks with other palette color and with a white background instead of transparent one. I hope you guys can help me with this.

The character sprites are saved in the game as .BMP files I think, so you'll have to edit and change them like that. If your saving them as something else, rhat could be why the "transparent" background is still showing up. The palettes are also saved as .BMP files I think, so if your saving them as something else, the color mapping of the BMP file gets distorted and doesn't display properly in-game. That's because .BMP files have a unique color mapping and can't be turned into any other file format without being distorted or broken.
