How does If's and Else codes work in FNF?

Question

I have been screwing around with the source codes and notice that whenever I use the If's and Else's codes, it usually causes an error. Does anyone know how the codes like that work?

What is your specific error?Also, if/else statements work as follows. Let's take the health icons in Mic'd Up/FPS Plus (with improved icons enabled) as an example.If the player's health is 20% or less, set their icon (referred to as iconP1 in PlayState) to frame 1 and the opponent's to frame 2. Else, keep it at frame 0 (and revert to frame 0 once health is over 20%) for both icons. If the player's health is 80% or more, set the opponent's icon (referred to as iconP2 in PlayState) to frame 1 and the player's icon to frame 2. Else, keep it at frame 0 for both.Here are some images as well. Keep an eye on the health icons.This first image is the default state, where both icons are at frame 0.Player 2's icon is on frame 2, while player 1's icon is on frame 1.And lastly, player 1's icon is now on frame 2 while player 2's icon is on frame 1.The way this is set up is:if (healthBar.percent < 20)iconP1.animation.curAnim.curFrame = 1;else if (healthBar.percent > 80)iconP1.animation.curAnim.curFrame = 2; elseiconP1.animation.curAnim.curFrame = 0;if (healthBar.percent > 80)iconP2.animation.curAnim.curFrame = 1;else if (healthBar.percent < 20) iconP2.animation.curAnim.curFrame = 2; else iconP2.animation.curAnim.curFrame = 0;
