Classic characters are known for NOT having mouths in their sprite forms, so why in the hell would you change that for one character?

Definitely, Shadow always has that angry look to him and he is known for that, if he didn't have a mouth he just looks bland. Also, some of his expressions wouldn't look as good without the mouth.

I agree with everyone else here, Shadow should have a mouth...it kinda adds to his expressions or something, you know what I mean? It makes him stand out more.
