A big thanks to all the judges who helped score the maps! We had 8 judges from the different sponsoring communities which really helped in finding the winning maps. And another big thanks to Rebel's Corp, Swoobles!, Thorax Gaming, Killzone Gaming, Edge Gamers Organization, Steam Gamers and Syndicate Gamers for all sponsoring this contest!
Runners Up9 maps were entered for the contest and there are only 3 winning spots so sadly some must miss out. In no particular order, here are the runners up :
mg_misty_island_multigames by Laiken : The judges agreed that this map was interesting with it's various & innovative games. However they felt that some of the games were too confusing for the more casual minigame players causing extended round times. Several judges also encountered bugs with some of the games which caused issues. With a bit of tweaking and fixing up, this map could easily be popular on minigame servers.
mg_tetris by Knightjs : The judges felt this map had a good concept and showed potential. However it was unfortunately let down by textures not being packed in the contest version. They also felt that the map in it's current state didn't have enough replayability for it to get enjoyed on minigame servers.
mg_damons_headshot by skillerzz : The design of this map was liked by the judges and they felt the mapper showed good skill with it. However this map struggled in scoring due to being a headshot only, deathmatch style map while the other entrants were more varied with lots of different games.
mg_jedi_wars_beta1 by Hypilix : The judges had mixed feelings on this map. They felt that while the design and most of the games were good, the map just didn't do enough to stand out amongst the other entrants. This is in by no ways a bad map but didn't have anything to wow the judges as much as certain other maps.
mg_osacs_bumpminearena by OrangeOz : This map provided a new and unique minigame that the judges enjoyed with it making good use of mines. This map did suffer by only being one level rather than being a multigame like most of the other entrants. Different stages or it being part of a larger multigame map would have helped it score higher.
mg_nx-multigames_mbreal_beta by NeoX-Willi : The judges praised the Battle Royale minigame in this map, with it being well done and enjoyable. However they felt the rest of the games didn't provide anything new or unique. Hopefully the entrant will continue to work on this map after the contest and finish implementing the rest of the planned games.

The visuals of this map stood out massively to the judges with the impressive amount of detail and effort put into it. The games included were fun but the judges did find bugs with them and felt only 6 games may cause players to want to switch maps after a while. They also expressed concern over the maps file size. Some tweaks and fixes to this map could easily see it as a minigames favourite.

mg_cutie_multigames_contest by Raphi
The judges praised this map for having interesting and new games to play with. They felt the mapper also did a good job with the design, creating a unique map to play on. There were some minor bugs and one of the judges crashed loading the map. Even so this map scored strongly and it's unique games and visuals earned it second place.

The favourite map of pretty much all the judges, this map stood out amongst the rest with it's unique games, visuals and wow factor. The judges like the voting system, preferring it over the usual race to the game chooser. The games themselves are all fun and interesting to play on, keeping the attention of the people playing. The design is extremely well done and well executed throughout the map. A fully deserved winner of first place!
Congratulations to all the winners! We hope you all enjoyed this contest!
