After a brief delay, we are happy to announce the winners of The "Jungle Wars" Mapping Contest. There were some tough maps for a lot of games (speaking of which, some of them many probably haven't even heard of before) but the judges managed to take a look at every single entry and come up with a score for it.

An innovative map idea that makes you want to know every corner of it. Though, after some exploration, the small map along with "too much scaled" textures and wonky gameplay for a Deathmatch map made it end up in fourth place.

Standoff Result features an enjoyable and eye-candy design with a lot of custom props and a great feel of an old overgrown city. However, a lot of overused buildings that don't look really great and many of the models that have an incorrect fade distance have resulted in the map's performances to not be so flawless. Overall, a lovely map that deserves the third place.

A map with a lovely layout and with great use of custom content. Its mountains provide an eerie feeling to everyone who plays it. But, its size, the lack of optimization and many blocky surfaces that block the normal player's movement have decided the map to win a well deserved second place.

A really great map that follows the contest theme along with a really lovely 3D skybox that amazed all the judges. Its lighting and fog help in merging the map elements. One of the disadvantages would be too much foliage that create possible camp spots. Overall, it's a great looking map that deserves some attention.
All the winners will be contacted soon via PM with details on how to claim their prizes. Have a nice day!
