The second version of the first map in Japanese style, which has a number of advantages.
The map has a symmetrical structure plan, as is accepted for Knife Arena mode.
In the center of the map there is an area that restores the player's health, where fireflies with a blue glow are located. In addition to restoring health, the player will have the opportunity to get to the top of the central roof thanks to the magic Push. Sakura branches have animation of movement in the wind, and falling petals from the tree gradually settle on the ground(realize, unfortunately, not as i would like). Japanese fireflies dilute the illumination of the red and blue tones of the map, corresponding to the colors of the team.
Maximum values of polygons: 1) on the lower level not exceed 1100 wpoly and 14,000 epoly; 2) on the second floor 1500 wpoly and 15 500 epoly; 3) on the top of corner roofs 1750 wpoly 15 500 epoly.
Recommended settings: r_detailtextures 1 — HD textures; gl_fog 1 — Enable fog; cl_weather 1 — A little snow. brightness 1.0 gamma 2.5
This map. Is just dope, really I can't find anything negative in it. The style and aesthetics are great and very well done. The lighting effects are fantastic and the details put into are well fitting. All of that and my craptop potato ran it very well so you've done an outstanding job in optimization while keeping the map good looking. My only complain is the cliffside texture. It looks quite LQ compared to the rest of the map. But if it's for optimization reasons I'm all ok with it :D
