surf_hourglass - A Mod for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

A map alternating between two timelines

Originally made for 66 tick on css.
Surf settings are applied automatically when starting the map.
CSGO port made by granis
Map on steam workshop
Original css version

added servercommands for offline play surf settings
added logic_auto to set servercommand
added env_cascade_light with range set to 1 (removing dynamic shadows)
added a cubemap (to get rid of reflections)
removed the sound switching thing (it was cool but kinda annoying)
river is now more clear
made some stuff brighter

hookzones kept from original version, named:
timerzone_start, timerzone_end
timerzone_cp1, timerzone_cp2

the logic_auto contains surf settings which can be discarded for your server, but also:
sv_maxvelocity 5000

surf_hourglass - a tier 1 map meant for both first timers as well as veteran surfers with a well thought out fast route. The map alternates the player between two timelines, and it includes a lot of rarely seen features in Source Engine maps, like moving clouds, dynamically changing skybox, color correction and expensive water on more than one Z axis at once. The map was made for a KSF mapping contest, where it has not won any prizes, but got an honorable mention. As a note from me, I started working on the map around 3 weeks before the contest's deadline, so I unfortunately did not have the time to polish the map and it feels unfinished to me, but I had no other choice than to release it - I hope you enjoy playing it anyway :)

- designed for 66/64 tickrate, 150 sv_airaccelerate, 5000 sv_maxvelocity
- in order for all of the map features to work properly, do NOT remove any entities using plugins like stripper etc. on your server

- client-side, make sure HDR and color correction are enabled and mat_specular is 1
- if the map appears too dark in some parts, I recommend raising the brightness settings, and if that doesn't help, in worst case you can also disable HDR which will make the map way brighter (but also uglier)
