MG DIVINE MULTIGAMES

A multigame map made by ProfessorOak & [SG] Paul with 15 levels to choose from! The multigame spawn/selection area has a bit of a twist to it compared to any generic multigame spawn with 5 random ways (3 climb, 1 hunt the creeper face and lava run) of 'getting chosen'.

MAP INFO

There are 15 levels that the 'winner' can select from by standing on the pressure pad in front of the level and then pressing 'e' on the map picture. The map has an auto picker setup for 60 seconds if nothing has been picked already. However although there are only 15 maps you will only be able to select 14 of them UNLESS YOU ARE RUNNING THE PLUGIN that comes in the .zip file. There are some unique level ideas in this map which we are proud to release such as the 2D race level (big thanks to kaemon for the entity setup and inspiration for the idea from his mg_2d_alpha map that he made like a year ago), 1hp containers is a pretty fun one, OaksWonderland, paulware (inspired by garryware) and more.

PLUGIN INFO - Server owners please read

This plugin is optional to have on your server, all that it does is handles one of the levels in the map. If its loaded it will unload the paulware stage button so that it can be selected. The plugin keeps track of players 'frags' and assigns the winner of the paulware stage with a weapon. The plugin is only loaded on the "mg_divine" prefix name and is not loaded once the map is not running. Thanks to hlstriker for making the plugin, we have attached the .sp file along with the .smx if you would like to check the code before adding it to your server. There is also another plugin in the .zip folder which is to enable players to download custom map loading screens that any mapper creates for their maps. Add it if you wish too, its not mandatory, just be sure you upload the resource file to your fast downloads server too. If you are going to add the plugin I would also recommend setting the following in your server.cfg if you haven't already as there will be a REALLY SMALL chance of certain cvars being set once the map has changed, if the maps changed (rtv or admin force change) in the small window when the paulware map alters them. Here they are: - sv_friction 4 - sv_accelerate 5 Again id also like to thank ProfessorOak for giving me the opportunity to get back into mapping, he was the one who had already had 9 base levels before getting me involved. We think that the map is great fun to play on and we hope you guys enjoy it. Feedback is appreciated and thanks for downloading/reading if you have!

Port changes from CSS @ Oaks Wonderland Removed. @ M249 Race Removed. @ Elevator level added. @ Minecraft Mayhem level added. @ Wallhacks is now a deagle level with headshots only enabled due to csgo blockbullets texture no longer working. @ Climb at spawn only has a 1/7 chance of occurring. @ Sound removed due to increased texture sizes as we had to port some in from source shared.gcf Known Bugs: - Spawn - Random Boxes - the minecraft head/ teleport trigger doesnt seem to get teleported on linux servers. Will fix for v1_1.

    I like this map very much, good to see that you noticed the creeperhead bug on Linux, just registered to post it here. Cheers and keep mapping such awesome maps! :D

Set cvar mp_solid_teammates "0" on your server to fix this. It makes it so you can walk through other players on your team instead of being blocked.

    This is a pretty awesome map, some of the minigames are really fun, I don't know if it's because all the servers I have played it on have an outdated version but, When the server is full all all but like 2-3 people spawn free, the rest get stuck at the spawn points, This happens both at the start of the round and at the start of some mini games. The reason this is bad, in the basis of what happens in the servers I play in, is that people get fed up of being stuck at the spawn and !rtv and the map gets changed within a few minutes. But yea, when everything works, its a really fun map

    Like a few people said, this map doesnt download properly. For me, renaming it didnt fix the problem. If i try to play it offline, it wont work unless I shorten the name to something like mg_divine_v1. This doesnt solve the DL problem for me on my server tho. There aren't many csgo MG servers right now and the few that I have seen that have this map, also seem to crash on map change to this map just like my server. Looks like a nice map tho. Wish it worked cause there arent many csgo Multigame maps yet.

    Like a previous poster stated. The map name was too long for me. It wouldn't allow anyone to download the map. I had to cut the name down and it worked just fine. I'm running on Ubuntu Linux Dedicated Server. I have a FastDL That works with all my custom maps except this one. All I did was change the name and made it smaller to "mg_devine_mu" thanks, awesome map btw!
