This is somewhat of an experiment really. It was just meant to be a cool space to trade items 'till somebody put a control point up. Now people are exploding, the jacuzzi is clogged with body parts and there are too many bullets in the air to trade. All I know is that there are a lot of hungry men on the back deck and I only have enough food to feed about half of them. I'll let them battle over who gets to eat tonight.

I was actually just working on this map last night. I have wrapped up the area portals and included some occluders which should help a bunch. I am also LODing out some of the geometry detail and hoping this will be enough to help with the FPS issue a lot are having. The main thing holding back the next release is the underground tunnels leading to the back yard and the side exits added to spawn. Each spawn now has 3 exits and these need to be detailed enough that I'm not embaressed to show them off, haha.
I would love to get it out for Thanksgiving break. Thanks for checking it out! (and reminding me to add the damn info_observer_point!)

Wow, thank you so much for the kind words Twatzilla. I really appreciate it. I had wanted to get into some more TF2 mapping and your critique helped get me through 2 days worth of source SDK errors to get the engine back up and running again. It's been awhile and my stuff was pretty dusty.
I successfully added area portals to the spawn and saloon areas of the map. This helped a ton with streaming models and geometry of the map in sections and fixed all of the fps performance issues on my end. Hopefully it will be enough to run on most computers but I am going to make another optimization pass before releasing the next version. I have also added tunnels in the bottom of the spawn room and a few extra rooms connecting them to the bottom of the saloon.
Thanks again for the honest crit, it helps a lot! I will let you know when the next version comes out!

- Beautiful, beautiful map. Obvious care was put into the making of this. Lighting, textures, decorations, and so forth were all wonderfully done. We ran around for an hour last night and kept discovering little details that you added. It was pretty great.
- There are so many flanking areas! Lots of sentry spots, and the wells are very amusing.
**Cons:**
- Definitely some spawn camping issues. I like the idea of adding another exit or two from the bottom of the spawns. That would take care of the issue pretty well.

- There is a serious decrease in FPS when leaving the spawn. It doesn't affect me negatively, but I have an actual gaming computer. People on laptops or lower tier computers would be struggling to hit 30FPS. If there's some way to tone down that without sacrificing the beauty of the map, then do so. If not, then let them suffer. It really is very pretty.

Yeah, I was having a drop coming up the spawn stairs. I think I need to create portals because the outside is 1 giant cell now,
however I'm not too familiar with the process in Hammer unfortunately. Would love to revisit this soon though...
