Now you may be wondering: "Wolfcl0ck, why make another one of these? Isn't this section already saturated with them?" Well, an excellent question my friend! I have noticed that the vast majority of these beta cube remakes are simply using modified textures for the final cube as opposed to actually fitting said model's UVs onto the proper textures. This cube remake, as opposed to those, features a brand new texture set for the cubes made by decompressing and upscaling the texture in the fizzler fx cube model's textures, and then applied with a custom UV map on the cube model! As such, this, in my opinion, is a more definitively accurate remake to the cubes than that of what most people create! The other reason is that I'm planning to make a video on the evolution of the storage cube and I wanted the most accurate version of the Portal 2 beta cube I could come up with.
Question: Why is there no dirty version? Answer: It doesn't seem like this version of cube *had* a dirty version, so the clean and dirty textures are both the same.
Place the vpk file into Portal 2/portal2_dlc3 (create this folder if it doesn't already exist). If the pak number is already taken up, increment it up by one (ie if pak01_dir.vpk is already in use, rename it to pak02_dir.vpk.)
