Part of an ongoing project by myself to bring a multitude of controller button prompts and UI elements to HD GUI, which is part of the Dreamcast Conversion project by PkR.  As such, this mod requires HD GUI 2 from the Dreamcast Conversion in order to function. This mod must be loaded after HD GUI 2 to apply in-game correctly.

Today's controller is the Nintendo Switch Pro controller. This is a pretty easy controller to get working on PC, albeit without proper Analog controls on the sticks. Aside from that though it's a solid gamepad on PC from what I've heard, and getting the proper analog working is as simple as it is with the Wii U Pro controller, or so I've heard at least.

One thing of note specific to this prompts mod is that this button layout assumes your  Switch Pro Controller is mapped with the positions of the same buttons on an XInput gamepad.

Developers Notes:
  • Chao UI and GameGear UI are not currently included in HD GUI 2, nor are the menu's scaled by the Mod Loader UI Scaling options, and thus are currently unsupported in this HD GUI plugin. When they are supported, I will support them.
  • Languages other than English and Japanese are not supported by HD GUI 2 with properly upscaled graphics yet, so I will not be supporting them until they are.

The button prompt graphics come from ThoseAwesomeGuys, who have royalty free button prompts available that fit quite nicely within the SA1 aesthetic.

The controller graphics come from jimbomcmxc's publicly available vectors, with the exception of the Nintendo Wii U Pro Controller and Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers, which use the official press graphics for the gamepads, since no high quality free vectors seem to be available.
