  • Addition -Added Unique Rockets version of the W.A.S.P launcher for those who play on creators.tf servers.

Each Rocket Launcher reloads a unique rocket that's similar to its own style.

In Vanilla Team Fortress 2, every rocket launcher reload the same rocket model, which makes no sense since each rocket acts differently and each rocket launcher is different.

NO MORE!

With this mod each rocket launcher reloads a unique rocket that's tuned to its own style in associated with the proper rocket launcher.

This is compatible with ALL custom animations. Your welcome Paysus and Kylul users.
This is compatible with ALL re-textures.
This is not compatible with any mods that change the rocket launchers models or the soldier's arm models.

Does not work on sv_pure 1/valve servers.

Sadly, this doesn't replace the projectiles launched from the rocket launcher like how the Air Strike rocket is a different model projectile, as that requires implementation from the devs through the source code. But there is a Server plugin that does that very thing with the same models, minus the Air Strike projectile and A bigger Beggars Bazooka rocket.     Hey there! I'm the guy that made the Enhanced Rockets SourceMod plugin for servers, which uses these rocket models, and I wanted to drop a comment here to provide some additional info.

    The Elbagast rockets (Direct Hit, Rocket Jumper, Original, Black Box, Liberty Launcher, hope I'm not forgetting one) were never made publicly available for download, but a mod was made by (if memory serves) Elbagast that works just like this one, but for the older v_model system and released that used the rockets. I got in touch with N-Cognito and he helped me out by ripping the rockets out of that old mod and making them into their own models.

    As for the other rockets (Festives, Australiums, Beggar's Bazooka, the "enhanced" [fixed UVs] stock rocket, and the botkiller rockets from my plugin that were not made part of this mod for obvious rocket size-related reasons), those were N-Cognito creations, commissioned by me for my Enhanced Rockets plugin. Although I'm not sure if commissioned is the right word as I cannot remember if I paid him for the work or if he did it for something to do. I'd have to run through our old DMs to find it. Pretty sure I paid him well for the work though.

    I personally had a hand in the creation of the Australium stock rocket because the one N-Cog had sent used the original greys of the stock rocket alongside the gold and I wanted it to more closely resemble the darker shades on the Australium Black Box rocket. If you'd be so kind Tem, could you toss me up there in the list of contributors, just for "Australium stock rocket texture work" or something to that effect.

    They've also been uploaded to the Workshop, although the uploader may need some assistance in properly adding contributors to the submission so it's not just him listed. And I got him to take a chance and email Valve to prod them about the submission and see if they'd be interested in properly adding the rockets to the game in some fashion.

  • This is really cool! But I noticed that Creators' New Zealium variants don't have unique rockets and just have the really tiny default ones. Could you possibly make a small update to add unique rockets to those as well? Thanks! :)
