  • Addition Added Council of Three stage
  • Addition Added Loro stage version 2
  • Addition Added Forest stage version 2

Version 3.1 22d Optimization2 Addition Added Stage 22d Addition Updated the mods to Version 3 26d BugFix
So this is a tamed version of the Potato Mod I released before, and only for a few stages and for all stages. The intent of this one is to make the most problematic stages (even for people with decent setups) slightly less taxing. I haven't fully tested how much they improve the performance, but I've done my best to remove any assets that are moving (including NPCs) and or big in file size / vertices. Some are decided purely as a design choice to retain at least some aesthetics.

Please let me know if there are any issues!

How to Install
Method 1:
Get Unverum Mod Manager here,

Instructions are all in there

Method 2:
Right click game on Steam > Properties > Local Files > Browse

Then go to the folders,
RED > Content > Paks

Create a folder and name it "~mods" and extract the .zip contents in there, both .pak and .sig files.

The following stages are modded:
  • 12 Dimensional Flux Observatory
  • Ajatar Hunting Ground (two versions)
  • Castle of the Silver Fleet (two versions)
  • Jellyfish Skyarium
  • Loro Dil Ilyria (two versions)
  • Original Time Square
  • Seventh Heaven District
  • Lars Canyon
  • A Happy Family
  • Council of Three

Best Configuration
Similar to the regular Potato Mod, there are only a few things you need to worry about when using this mod; and that's to avoid the godrays (since assets are removed, certain lightings will go through) and bloom (a common issue everyone has).

In the in-game's settings,
  1. to remove godrays, put Post-Process to Low
  2. to remove bloom, put Effect Quality to Best

If you want to dabble more on this and with the config files, check out the description in Potato Mod for more info.
  • I really can't thank you enough for your amazing work and dedication, not only with the mod but also for adressing in such a kind way the players' feedback.

I have only one issue with this mod and that is with Ajatar Hunting Ground. The first version has some minor fps drop only in the first stage (between 57 and 60) and looking from the images I thought the second version would run better, but unfortunately I can't manage to reach even 50 fps in the first stage. I was wondering If it's just me or in this second version there are more objects than in the first one (only in the first stage I mean) while the others seem to run perectly fine. Again, this is just a minor complain, but I wanted to know if there's a reason for it and, just if it's possible, I'd love if you could manage to tone it down like you did with the other two stages.

  • This feels like it adds a lot of clarity while not taking much away from the stage's aesthetics. Only issue I have is that the sunrays on Castle 1 are really bright since it would normally be obstructed by the castle walls in the background. Good thing the stages are separate downloads so I can just disable that one!
