I'm surprised that no one had done the fixes seen here.
I created several fixes for vanilla weapons in Black Mesa. I also made fixed versions for Juniez's Classic Weapons. Several add-ons like model and sound alternatives are included.
General: - Viewmodel for Worldmodels (Models edited using Blender) - Upscaled textures for ammo and Satchel world model. - Changed HUD Icons (Edited in paint.net) - Crowbar and Hivehand now uses view model textures instead of resized textures. - Includes a series of alternatives for my fix pack. - Since the arms model in the hands admire animation had a mix of updated arms but still use the 2012 shoulders (even though you can't see it), I have changed the mesh to be consistent with the arms. - HL1 Style textures for ammo models - Ejected shells now use Juniez's shells mesh - Changed mortar sounds
Glock: - Changed NPC fire and reloading sounds (Includes an IIopn version) - Sprinting animation fixed - Brass Ejection fixed for NPC Glock (It uses the .dmx file to fix it.) - Assassin Glocks now have silencers and I edited the texture for it.
357 Magnum: - Changed Viewmodel for 357 including a few animations and sounds for the Idle fidget animation - 357 shell model, "shell.mdl" was taken from Black Mesa Azure Sheep - Edited 357 box texture to be different than the HL2 magnum box texture including fixed lighting for it in Multiplayer - NPC reload sound changed - New 357 World Model - Added an ammo box model using Gun-Nut Magnum Ammo Box and Juniez's 357 Shell and Speedloader mesh
MP5: - Viewmodel retextured with consistent bullet texture like the Glock and colored markings - NPC reload sound changed (I edited the sound script for it to work.) - Improved MP5 World Model included with fixed multiplayer models so now it can glow like the other models
Shotgun: - Modified texture and shell fix for reloading - Edited Ammo Box - Sounds for the Idle fidget animation has been added (Vanilla animations only) - Edited the sprint animation in the .qc file so that it transitions quickly than playing the low animation first - NPC fire sound changed - New Shotgun World Model - Added an ammo box model using Classic Shotbox made by Xubs and Juniez's Shotgun Shell mesh
Crossbow: - Slight animation changes to the draw and both reloading animations - New Crossbow World Model for singleplayer and multiplayer - Corrected Juniez's Crossbow World Models
RPG: - Ammo Crate now contains viewmodel rockets for the RPG instead of the retextured HL2 rockets - New RPG World Model for singleplayer and multiplayer - Corrected Juniez's RPG World Models
Tau Cannon: - New Tau Cannon World Model for singleplayer and multiplayer - Corrected the sound script for the charge up sound for Juniez's Classic Weapons
Grenade: - Edited the View model and the texture for it - New Grenade World Model
Snark: - Fixed the Snark V_Model mesh reference - Added sounds for Idle fidget animations 3 and 4
KNOWN ISSUES: - The Snark idle fidget sounds would sometimes play again after the animation plays. It happens to the RPG view model too. - My HUD icons may not look great but I tried my best. - Please note that I have changed the .dmx files for the Glock, so you may experience animation errors. Like Juniez's Classic Weapons pack, they are incompatible with this fix pack, so do a new save.
Can you make an individual version of the Juniez ammo boxes with the more fitting ammo pieces in this fix pack? Can you use the textures for the castings from the original Juniez ammo box mod instead of the shiny brass in the Juniez Classic Weapons Pack which is I'm guessing from that pack because it's required and makes all my shells textures go missing.
Alright one more if you are gonna keep updating this and give you something to do. This is for the hud icon to the hivehand. There are two hook things at the end of the gun where gordon sticks his hand into that you don't usually see poke out on actual weapon. Could you erase those?
This will be the last one I promise, this isn't really a fix to make the weapon consistent. It's more just adding detail that wasn't there. I want to see if it is possible. I am so sorry for requesting these. They just bother me sometimes, you don't have to if you don't want to this time. So what do you say?
Just one more tiny thing? the shotgun hud icon. K thanks. You can find it in previous screenshot i've sent if you look closely enough. It desperately needs it now that you've done the other weapons. Also i'm gonna try to fix rpg again.
