Nine months passed by and I wasn't quite satisfied with what I have done here, so, I decided to remake all of those models again from the ground up although having major differences in its work, here's some development process that changed and the upcoming features that I plan to add:
- Playermodels retextures support
- Hands retextures support
- More faithful models
- Low-poly arms
- Separate fingers and wrist materials (On a good side, this means that you can add a glove reskin and it won't replace the fingers/wrist texture at all, but retextures that add full-finger gloves to the model is completely out of the question since they won't work at all)
- Better rigging
- Highlighting community mods
- Completely customizable
- The playermodel texture now shares the same texture with the viewmodel, meaning why they're more faithful than ever now
- Custom VMT support
This will be a sort of spin-off here since I don't exactly want to update the version of this mod and, well, force the people that liked this one use the one i'm working on right now.
Sure you could say "Why not put two versions here and now?", because it would be more likely ignored and the first version would be always the first one that the users would pick.
Another reason is that the media I've made here, I don't want it to go to waste, screenshots, thumbnail, info, and the video that N3rdy
made specifically about this version. It's quite a loss. So it gives me more reason to create a spin-off.
Anyways, please post your thoughts about how ya'all feel about this, especially about the whole spinoff, separate mod thingy. I do need comments on how to proceed with all the given reasons I stated above, cheers up!
