Nintendo Gamecube (Mario Kart Double Dash) - A Mod for Sonic Adventure 2

Here's my second test for importing geometry into SA2. My first test was  Apotos Windmill Isle Act 1 from Unleashed Wii, but I kept having crash problems with that stage, so I decided to go much smaller and this stage is what I came up with for importing. :)

Stage is ripped straight out of  MKDD's files including vertex colors and textures. The circle with the Mario Kart logo is slightly edited to have that blue glass thing on it as flat surfaces cannot do reflective materials in SA2 sadly.

Collision is also bare bones, so expect to fall through the floor from time to timr when using the up close punch moves (Propeller punch, boxing glove, Omochao, Dark Omochao). The walls should be fine though.

It's also recommended to have this mod on the top or very bottom in terms of mod priority in the mod loader.
  • Doesn't work quite well with Character Select, and by "Doesn't work quite well" I mean that the character spawn inside the gamecube, I'm not complaining but just saying. It would have been more fun it worked for everyone though

    The funniest part about this mod is that this game did have a GameCube release.

    Another thing I forgot to mention is that I used Justin113D's SA Support add-on for Blender to import the geometry and collision.
