The map is balanced at 100%, as it is symmetrical. But, I do think that, in the ground floor, you could make separate boxes, and place them misaligned one to another, so that you can create a maze. It will add lot more fun because of all those players who want to humiliate another. Then, in the side paths, add some blocking boxes, and at the top floor, add rail and boxes to the bridge. Try to use less of the same texture, and align textures one to the other. This map can become something very good, just work on it!

First, I would have to say the base concept looks like it is starting to come together. I think your on the right track. Consider avoiding very long plain hallways and open areas. Here are some basic ways you can deal with those issues: Put a different texture on the roof than what you use on the walls or floor. Outside try adding some sort of prop_statics like trees/cars/fences etc. to break the squared off map but that line up with what you want your map theme to be. If you make that long hallway a little wider you can add the following to visually break it up: - fake doors that are inlaid - crates or props on the ground to give some cover - decals on the walls - lights on the walls or ceiling

**Pros:** - somewhat balanced **Cons:** - Too much of the same textures - Lighting / brush work too simple **Improvements:** - Add some depth with lighting - Add additional paths / flanks **Notes:** - It is bad form to use the same texture for the floors as the walls because it makes the map look bad.

Well after reading what you wrote about the map and yourself i am sure you have the ability to make more and better maps, if you know about gameplay and what's important and what you want to make. and it's not bad to start off with a gg map as first map imo. you watch tutorials or do you want to learn yourself? if you want to watch tutorial i do reccomand either search rocketrascal34 or 3kliksphilip in youtube profiles:) @map, from the screenshot i can see you didnt make an env_lightenvoriment, perhaps you should put one, it makes light and shadows in your map. also remember if you will play with 32 people that the mapsize is not to small. good luck!
