ze_voodoo_islands_v8_5 - A Mod for Counter-Strike: Source.

IMPORTANT!!: its important that the zombies are selected before the humans are teleported into the level itself. i would recommend having it being selected right away with in 5 seconds or so. this is no problem cause the zombies will be sorted from the humans and therefore cant harm them until players are teleported to the map. if zombies dont spawn early enough humans will only have a few seconds to barricade and it will most likely result in the zombies will win. yes the humans are supposed to barricade this is a mix of zombie escape and zombie survival. the humans will have to survive on 3 different islands each for 2 minutes. after the humans have survived on an island for 2 minutes the entrance to the next island will open and humans run to the next island. meanwhile the zombies are trapped for an amount of time before released again giving the humans a change to escape the island once all 3 islands are complete an escape route will open which the humans have to escape and then they will be teleportated to heaven while those who didnt make it will be nuked (WTFBOOM nuked of course :D) this map has been tested on the icannt ultimate zombie reloaded server and meanwhile testing its final beta version it managed to attract 61/64 players therefore the server was listed as: 1) Oz CSS Overall Rank: National No.1 2) World Zombie Overall Rank: World No.1 3) World CSS Overall Rank: World No.4 :D :D for evidence goto: http://www.zombiesfromhell.net/forum/3-1030-1 how to play this map is also explained ingame with console commands this also contains a soundtrack ive made myself for the map ^^ please comment and assess :D changes in v2: fixed bug where if you spawned late as human you would be trapped in spwanpoint area removed some bushes to make for better framerate changes in fix: removed a misplaced spawnpoint changes in v3 made too early zombie spawning impossible made a "force field" on the 3rd island so that when you fall off it teleports your back up. fixed that you could be shot out of the map made the end teleporting spot bigger so that humans have a better change changes in v4 map has been optimized with help from freeZe :) some graphical changes time on each island has been shortened to 1 min and 30 seconds penalty teleporters has been fixed and has been added to each island changes in v5 fixed 2nd cage changes in v6 draw distance decreased for better fps changes in v7 finnaly solved the lag on 3rd island :) (kinda) cause im still not sure what cause dit but its gone now :) added a trophies wall in heaven to spray on once you get there :P made that the teleporter that teleports you to haven only teleports humans which will make it easier to win :) Changes in v8 some graphical changes that the css update smashed! a few gameplay changes. mostly spot modifications and an extra box in the endzone changed a few more textures and lights optimised the map so the 3rd island is only visible when you are on it and you cant see the other islands from it changes in v8_1 fixed missing texture changes in v8_3 various graphic fixes removed spawn chambers which make the ballance apply better for each server escape route to hells vackground has been redone the floating boxes have been adjusted to be easier changes in v8_5 fixed !ztele bug

    this map need to bee fix because spawn always tp us to the first island so every players spawn in the one spot, it make our server crash.

    The end scene is impossible for zombies because humans can camp on the ledge... Also the first island is hard for the zombie because everyone has good camp spots. One or two humans should be trapped for the zombie to get so it makes it easier for zombies in the first round.

    Denn15, The map is now as close to perfect as it can get imo. The texturing is now excellent, all timings perfect, and it just has now that completed feel about it - well done. For those with concerns about Zombies never winning .. not sure of what is happening there, but it really is a well balanced map now, and we have a win/loss ratio, slightly in favour of Zombies, of probably 60/40, averaging between 40 - 50 players on the map at any one time. Well done, your best Escape map so far - fun, engaging and varied with multiple strategies required for either side to take out the win - and one that belong up there with the very best.

    nice map, but we i've play it on server and it is impossible for the zombies, there is a teleport of T one side and CT on the others ... when the zombies are teleported on the 1st island he have no chance and get shoot. We haven't finish the 2nd island in 5 rounds ... if you can review the start teleport ;)
