A different, yet challenging and still fun map!
You like to fight zombies? And surf? well this is the map for you!
Don't know how to surf? Do not worry, with the included tutorial level, you will get your head around the basics in no time!
For some reason, you are in a facility where they only way to escape is through surfing and defending!
-Automatic map settings! No need for admin to change any accelerations!
-A TUTORIAL LEVEL for new players to get their head around surfing in no time!
-NO FALL DAMAGE!
-Fell of the surfing block? Get tele'd back to your last checkpoint and try again!
-Teleport campers and people who didnt finish a surfing stage, so you get to carry on!
-Random route is chosen, so show your abilities in a varied surfing way!
-Up to 12 combinations of route! (3 and 4)
-Carefully design defense areas
-Open minded defense area, with up to 5 different holding places, so spread out!
-King of the hill style defense
-Corridor defense area. Team work and shooting coordination required!
-10,000 hp for zombies who finish final surf in less than 15 seconds after the first humans finish!
-Can you get a surf board? ( replaces deagle, you need ot throw before hand).
-5 second afker killer. 5 seconds for those who who do not need afk killer because people like to respawn
-PLAYTESTED! It went trhough several versions all tested online on a public server.
-A different, yet challenging and still fun map!
-More than 72 spawn points!
NOTE, as with any map, you can't please everyone. Just upload it and give it a try! You won't regret it! As you learn the map, and get better at surfing it will become more enjoyable and more fun!
Even the map is fullbright, I made sure that all textures have anugh contrast so you can differentiate between the surf block the ground, the walls, etc. I tried adding lighting, but due to the massiveness of the map it was very hard to get right.

So, if zombies spawn from the spawning zone, then they do get counted twice. It is alright, don't worry about that

Installation, just paste the all of the files in the rar on your maps folder for counter strike source
Default should be Files\Steam\steamapps\Account_Name\counter-strike source\cstrike\maps
Note, ze_ApertureScience_OB got trashed because of ported models, if you want the map for your server just pm for a link to mediafire
You should not mix surf with ZE, its bad idea. But for some reason I was amused, for a while.
The problem i have with Surf in ZE is that people who cannot surf will leave the server. And that is something i do not want.
the defending spots kinda remind me of voodoo, where you also had to defend like that. In my opinion, you made a surf_ze_zm map xD.
I liked the structure the map had, but I have to agree with previous comments about the lighting ,the fact the end is not very "spectacular" and that the map should be a bit longer. It's good to have a tutorial for those who don't know, and for those who don't remember (in my case).
Pros: I liked this map a lot, it remembers me of zs_ maps Paul invented but this one is way more exciting as it combines zombie-mod with ACTUAL surfing, what makes me think its innovative. I think you should take this project forward and perfect it. Or either make another map like this one. its just GREAT! Also, I played this map on FRAGXLs Community server people enjoyed it, but sometimes its just annoying that zombies spawn on the way to the first holding part, and it becomes harder to get away from them as the teleports don't have any zombie blocking system.
Improvements: Some lighning and maybe extend it a little? dunno... atleast the end needs a bit more work to make it really spectacular.
