nav tuned by chizbone (playability with bots strongly improved)
textures tuned with higher contrast
lighting enhanced by tunning environment / ambient with respectively orange / blue hues
average fps slightly improved with optimization using hint brushes
fixed bugs: invalid terrorist spawn points and reversed bombsites in the radar
all files are embedded in the bsp including the nav
I edited the nav file and tested it. It seemed to have reduced signiicantly the lag with the bots. Bellow a link to download the new nav file. Just replace the old one and try.
The lag happens whenever I put more than 4 bots, as T ot CT, its really a problem of the nav file. Playing with more bots is only possible if you have a 2nd computer available so you can run one as server only for the bots and play on the cliente computer, and also minimize the game on the server. Sorry I cant fix that, I never did nav editing/optimization.
Well, I play with 11 bots...so far from the limit capacity as you say (24). It happens when I spawn T and for the first 10 seconds it really lags but I have no idea why.....damn I love that freakin map. It's a shame I won't be able to play it because the lagging takes all the fun out. Anyway, thanks for making it... XD maybe you'll make an improved version, by the way, does the lagging happens to you when spawning at T????
And it's the only map I have (amongst 100s) that lags X(

the lag is probably because you are putting too many bots, and the nav file is not optimized as explained in the notes. I know there is an error message on invalid terrorist spawn spots if thats the bug youre refering to, but I just couldnt find them (????), must be a bug in the vmf file. Anyway there are 24 valid T spawn spots.
You are right about snipping, good and fun in this map but snippers are also very exposed. Moving around is the key in this map, you can reach any area quickly despite its size, because there are many routes and short cuts all over. I found some servers running the map with awp/scout restriction, its a shame it takes too much fun from this map.
Pros: Everything, it's a brand new concept with wide areas (good/bad for sniping - you can conceal but also get exposed), very beautifuly done map.
Improvements: Some "FUNK" sounds in the "Favelas"
Notes: Congrats, one of the best maps ever made.
