cs_sprint-trading - A Mod for Counter-Strike: Source.

I am employed as graphic designer in Sprint-trading advertising company. Head office is located in relatively small building, so I decided to rebuild it to CSS map. Results are stunning (on my opinion) - due to small area, map keeps good fps and proportions of rooms make map accessible and fun.

    Pros: This is hands down the greatest map ever made, ever. Its awesomeness even extends beyond the boundaries of CSS. Cons: none Improvements: none needed Notes: amazing.

I assume you didnt read the errors in the console so you should really take a look at those. map_showspawnpoints shows the broken spawns in-game. Also add 32 spawns per side so no server owner needs to add spawns manually. It sucks having 40 slot server but only 32 spawns in map = 8 players cant play! There is no harm in 64 spawns and really takes like 5 mins to add them. There are also non critical errors in console, about VPHYSICS which can easily be fixed by changing the collision model to non solid or bounding box. Also displacement texture is being used on a non displacement surface. Thats sort of no-no too. There are lots of stuff laying out in the offices, with physics. Some props collide with walls and such, these cause server crashes! Type sv_cheats 1, developer 2 and map de_sprint-trading into console and you will see briefly those colliding props and chairs that needs to be taken care of. After the text fade, they have surrounding green box on them so you can spot them. The most annoying thing is the fps, or lack of it. I have to ask did you compile this map on fast or normal? Because it feels like compiled in fast and very unoptimized. It looks pretty cool visually but in-game on the actual server, the fps is 3-5 times less than you get alone in it. So worst i had there now was 100, most valve maps give me 200-250 at any given spot alone. There's something to be considered while you are doing the new version.
    About compile - I used vbct on full (it took 30min). About spawnpoints...I checked it and these coordinates send me near point 0 (around plant in pot on entrance). Even spawn area is outside) Solution you explained... BTW Thanx for advices...I have more clear about these red shits in console I'll fix it ;) I have no opportunity to test it on server :( So I have less idea how it runs online. So if you have interest I can send you next "advances" of map to test and consult.

    Thanx lot for positive feedbacks ;) BTW I am preparing next version of this map (due to few bugs such as hostage stuck before hole in the wall and bad naming: sprint_trading NOT sprint-trading) If you have some suggestions, post them now...I am going to recompile and submit in here in few next weeks

    Cons: Gameplay could be better.. pretty small/ close indoor fights.. DeathMatch like pros: Just awesome visual design, once more.. cYa
