    Looks very nice, great job.

Too bad the archive is corrupt. Mind fixing the download?

    > WOW! Thanks for this excellent feedback! I've should ask people before using their stuff, so sorry :( . How did you make the polymerbase? It looks very good! Yeah i have textured it with Fallout NV in mind and i have no clue how it would look in a source game. For the normals I have filled the blue channel with 50% grey and overlayed it over the bake. I have seen that technique in millenias texture tutorial. For the Bullets: I have already changed the color slightly, but yeah, i have to recolor them with a more bullet like color.

You're welcome and don't mind to much, you did credited me in a way :p
The polymer base was created by merging different kinds of pictures and noise patterns if I'm not mistaken, it's rather an old pattern so not sure anymore.

Aha alright, personally only worked with skyrim and as far as I've looked into the fallout engine the speculars there would be much brighter and strong with damage.

Yea if you're following Mil's technique that's about right, you can handle it both ways to channel out the blues and overlay it but if you've done it like on the tut you're doing great!

Alright, don't go to crazy keep in mind what the actual base color of a bullet is and not what the highlight color gives you! If looking at a reference first define what all the shaders could be (specular, gloss, diffuse, etc) so you could build up the same thing but then with actual shader maps!

Best of luck for your second (or third) version and yea if you find anything that can put it in any game I'd like to see it being released!

    > It seems you used the polymer base I've posted while it was more an example for what you should have worked towards too and actually not just use it, although I don't really mind it that you've used it and it doesn't look all to bad applied to the model so that's a plus.

    > My previous comment still states with the bullets that they're to much green toned. As this is dynamic after all it would have been slightly better to go for a darker brown like:

    > lightbase
    >
    > I'm not sure why the gloss is colored, I'm not even sure which game engine supports colored gloss maps but if you would gray scale this it does look okey, while the polymer is darker I would have toned the normal metal quite a bit up and removed the cavity map here as it doesn't really do much good.
    >
    > The specular looks good I would just tweak the grunge a bit depending on how it would look in game to the current look it wouldn't affect it to much but depending on light inval it might not look all to good. Same here for colored specular you need to see if the engine supports it or not.

    > The normal looks quite good, the bake came out proper so that's a plus, but I'm not 100% sure on the text and other parts you've overlayed, could you inform me how you've overlayed added parts in photoshop? Did you first channeled out the blue of the on top laying layer to then overlay it or high light it? Well if not this might be a good thing to change!
    >
    > For the rest a good release, I really wonder what effect this would give in game so yea ask around if anyone wants to animate it and put it in cs:go for example!

Nice release but well here's some feedback:

My previous comment still states with the bullets that they're to much green toned. As this is dynamic after all it would have been slightly better to go for a darker brown like:

    darkbase

    or lighter if required like:

    lightbase

I'm not sure why the gloss is colored, I'm not even sure which game engine supports colored gloss maps but if you would gray scale this it does look okey, while the polymer is darker I would have toned the normal metal quite a bit up and removed the cavity map here as it doesn't really do much good.

For the rest a good release, I really wonder what effect this would give in game so yea ask around if anyone wants to animate it and put it in cs:go for example!

    Keep up the good work!
