These fans are the first props I've ever made.
They are dynamic props so they are to be used with the prop_dynamic entity.
Simple cylinder collision model that's the same size as the frame.
Both animated with forwards, faster forwards, backwards and faster backwards animations.
3 skins to choose from for each model which can be seen in the screenshots.
This is the start of a conversion of my fan prefabs and I hope to get them all done.
The animations are a little jerky which is only noticeable on the non-fast animations.
If you want to edit the skins you can find them in /materials/models/Fibbs but note that it will also change the skin of them if they are used in any other maps.
Remember to add these files to your map using pakrat if you plan to release it!Install:
Simply extract the folders to your cstrike folder or the folder with the gameinfo.txt file of the game.

What did you use to create these? any spacific tutorials used?
The modeling was just a lathed spline (which is why it's a little high-poly(not good with optimization :3)).
For the animation this was very useful, the animation part at least (very, very good tutorial overall though).
To compile it, I had quite a hard time finding help with the qc 'til I came across this.
The bones/animations in this are incredibly simple though. If you decompile it and import it to your modeling program you'll see.
