Hey. i noticed you asked how to the sounds work in cp_ . Im the guy that got them working for Mic_ :) ill try and exsplain as well as i can, if you have done any hammer mapping before you should be ok :)
first off the sounds need to be converted to 44100 Hz ( I use audacity) then you need to stick the sound in
tf/sound/"a folder for your maps sounds"
from there, create an ambient_generic in hammer, set the flags to: play everywhere, rest not ticked.
then you dont need to worry about any other settings bar making sure volume is 10 (max) then you simply trigger it. this will play everywhere on the map.
if you want it to loop, what i did was make a logic timer, which triggerd the sound to play at an intaval of the length of the sound (so sound = 5 secs long, timer would tick every 5 secs and re-trigger.
i hope this helps you out. there must be a tutorial on how to do this somewhere. anyway, any probs ill see if i can help. + check my maps out :) if you like mario, youl like my pacman map :P
