From what you have said there then is that. . .
You rate the maps against other maps rather then rating the map against the mod.
Lotr maps are great when it comes to mappers skill but they have huge balance and performance issues, so I don't think they are good for an engine and a mod that's already suffering from lag and single core server sided processing.
Thanks for your generous edited rating to which still makes no sense at all because you still say you would give the original map 5-6 yet a 4 because I put a fence up, just trying to work out that logic.

What makes this obvious, look at the original sorrento, go to votes, scroll down, your name, 8.14 score, yet you give my tiny edit a 3/10..
Also obvious you are a good friend of hannibal to.

Thanks for your vote on "my" map, it was pretty childish you felt the need to vote it so low just because I pointed out massive bugs with hannibals map, after all reguardless of its size and uniqueness, its a published map, a product for servers to use.
Thank you for your comment on my map. This was the first time I've ever made a deathrun map or even played deathrun. I was going from server to server playing deathrun to understand how the gameplay worked lolz.
The fence most likely doesn't have a collision model and so a clip brush needs to be used to stop players from going through it.
The rest of the texture's use is for player movement. Makes it smoother by blocking off edges that could stop them when it really shouldn't be. Not terribly nessasary but makes maps play better since there are no small random edges to get stuck on and then blame for ones death.
