    heya,sadly I'm afraid I won't do anything else,these days I have really poor free time,and when I have some I'm actually already busy with an other mod,if I'm not playing I noticed that the steam forums weblink I found (explaining how to compile custom models that work online) doesn't show anymore,I saved the entire page on my harddrive before it happens,if you want I can try to upload it somewhere

    Hello, mate! I don't know? if you are still interested in L4D1, but i have an idea about new mod. L4D1 is agood game, but everyone become boring after 1-2 hours of gameplay. That's what we have: 1/2 twin pistols, 1 useless SMG-UZI, 1 superweapon - m16a2e4, 1 pump action shotgun, 1 another one superweapon - autoshotgun m1014, that makes pump useless, and sniper-hunting rifle based on m14 with scope which is useless too. That's what we have. Boring. So, here is mine idea. Replace Rifle with LMG M249 mk19. Why? It can cut off bodies with extra fast rate of fire. M16A2 in real life you will have to fire out several clips to cut off something - bullet is too small. But SAW with the same bullet will be able to cut of legs or what we are going to cut off?)))) It will be in frame of game concept. The next - smg UZI: 1200rpm and 9mm bullet - that's the sing to thorn enemies - but we cannot recompile client.dll to make it true. So it would be right to see here something with small and fast bullet - for example M4 or AK-74 or P90 etc. Yes, such bullet cannot stop zombie and thats right replace for smg. And another one weapon, it's hunting rifle. Well we can leave it in default, but why not recompile from CSS some nice fast assault rifle with scope or nice and fast semiautomatic sniper rifle? Here is the concept. Now i'm going to work with game scripts to look what i can do with animations - for example how to make npc hold smg like rifle. I need a man, who could help me with recompiling CSS models to L4D or L4D2 models to L4D1... I'm a new in recompiling, so i need someone to fill me in... It would be nice, if you help. Thanks one more time for tutorial)))

    Thanks mate, very nice model. Last year there are no new custom models for L4D, thanks for that.=)))) It would be nice to see something to change Valve's SMG/M1014/Sniper rifle. It's important to see correct world models, so custom weapons must have the same geometry as original ones. (For example MP5 would be incorrect for SMG - magazine situated before grip. So we need a weapon, that have mag situated inside the grip (it's mac10/11 or MP7 without foregrip) And so on: Spas-12/M1014 for autoshot, Semi-automatic sniper rifle for Hunting rifle (M21, PSG1 or M16-M110 with scope)). I don't ask you to recompile all CSS weapons, but it would be nice to see something new=))) And yes, L4D animations is a big headache so you shouldn't change them. Some new custom models would be enough, animations are not so important. Sounds also everyone can change on own taste.=) About permissions - seems to me, usually it's enough to add in credits list original authors.=) Anyway, it would be nice to see the lines in pak01.vpk Thank, mate.
