    Since i cant quote on fpsb anymore, lemme answer here. Why fix something that isn't broken? There's not much new content in this map, so why remake it? I really enjoyed forbidden_ways, but I feel as if this is a step backwards. it's not a fix, it's completely redone from scratch because many people liked the map and wanted new ways, wanted new secrets and new things to discover. more specials more gameplay more action. i really cant understand why you say there is not much new content, while others (i.e. BuckNasty) say, it doesn't have any similarities to the original. Everything is new, there is no secret or surfway taken from the old map, so it's all new content. All of the visual improvements seem to be countered by something negative. The skybox and sun is very pretty, but the HDR is completely unnecessary and the nodraw texture added to the bottom and sides of the ramps kills the "ambience" for me. The random light entities scattered around is tacky, and the textures don't add any sort of theme or ambience. Invisible walls in spawn add a restrictive and linear feel. The surfing is long, but its also boring and nothing I haven't seen in other surf maps. i get your point. i scaled the HDR that high, because i personally liked it. i love the glow effect and all. it really depends what personal taste you have :P the nodraw is for performance purposes and mostly only on sides you cant see on a normal surftrip through the map (or you only sneak into it for a second or so). youre totally right about the light :( it spawns from nowhere... i wanted to make cool light spawns but it wasnt possible since i hit max_panels multiple times and had to delete alot afterwards. i tried to find a compromise with those windows. Also, why tell us that there's 20+ secrets? That just ruins the whole experience of finding something cool because you told me that it was in the map!!! haha no, it should bring people to try the map multiple times to find everything. forbidden_ways - the name itself says, that there are alot of secrets. and if youve played the earlier version, you know that the map is only about those secrets. ;) I found one bug actually, some of the teleporters leading to the top seemed to turn on and off randomly, I don't know why but please fix this. you didnt mention which teleporter you mean, but im pretty sure you mean the one in jail. well i have set a 30 seconds spawn protection that will turn on the teleporter from jail to top after the said 30 seconds to prevent people from falling inside jail on purpose to come out at TOP too quick (since you can get out of the jail without any help - in the original map you needed help to get out) I'd give this map an 8.0 because its solid but bland. Also, if you need your friends in order for your maps to have a good rating, then you should know your maps aren't perfect. thank you for your honest feedback. seriously. i like people that say what theyre thinking and dont haver. greets krusty

    Just to clear thing up.. Which button are you talking about "take the button off of the bus", which entities are the bus made of? Also, how do you make the trigger_multiple trigger the bus' movements in that way? Sorry for asking a lot, but I didn't get much sense of your post =)

    Hi! Your map busses from hell is really the funniest arena-map I've ever played xD I just wondered, can I possibly get the project-file for it? I don't want to copy it or edit it, I do just want to see how you did that "mind-control" thing of the bus :P I've mapped for 2 years myself, I'm new to fpsbanana, so haven't posted my maps yet.
