I personally see that mods (FNF specifically) are not doing their job right + aren't very secure. Everyone is moving to gamejolt, which is probably a better platform.
I'll still use this website, but I won't be uploading any more content. Personally, I recommend anyone that makes FNF mods move to gamejolt or itch.io (the community seems to have decided on gamejolt). It has built in rich embeds and was built for _games_ which is what suits the FNF community more. You all are building GAMES, not mods. Mods require you to own the original game.
I'm probably move from itch.io to gamejolt. It's where the community has decided to go, and I'm happy the community has finally moved away from gamebanana.
Also, I think this whole situation could have been avoided. This wasn't some leet hax0r with immense knowledge, the mod was probably irresponsable online. I recommend checking haveibeenpwned often as they usually show databreaches. If you ever see a data breach you should change your password immediately. Notice how the person who got hacked was an FNF mod. It's my opinion that this wouldn't happen to a site moderator. GameJolt has no local mods (which means ANYONE can submit, and it won't be taken down, and week 7 is legal)
In summary, be better guys. Be safe online, and move to GameJolt.
