Update:I have added the NPCs at last!. Many thanks to DocRock and SilentRunner for helping me figure out the problems with the Sequences. I also separated the Map into two Parts "Ch0Ac0" & "Ch0Ac1". I decided that when you enter a very certain unnamed room that serves purpose to the non-canon plot. It serves as another reason for all the portals and damages that have riddled Black Mesa. You wake up in the Central Complex,Trapped with the others inside the Complex before the disaster. You have two ways to let your scientist friends escape. I still haven't set up the post disaster scenario. But it's gonna be good once it finishes.
Well,Here is a nice update! The first map (Ch0Ac0) is about to be finished!. The game has really been a big project I have been thinking about making for a couple of months now and to see it grow to fruition like this amazes me!. The map starts a bit like the original HL,The game displays it's title and it fades into you inside the doorless offices that you would see whilst you were in the train in the beginning of HL1. The game is starting to shape up well,Let's just hope it doesn't flop like Hunt Down The Freeman.
Finally!,I am back from the sudden trip hiatus,I have been waiting for SO long to get back to my home and get back to the Resonance Cascade Mod-Pack. I have learnt many things back where I was. Stuff like adding in weapons,NPCs,Sounds and other stuff that will improve my mapping. I would also love to express how HAPPY I am that my Headcrab Zombie Reskin got the BEST RESKIN Model for 3 straight days,This is so fricking mad,I will be added more of my Resonance Cascade Remodels up to GameBanana since everyone seems to be interested in my work. Again,I am extremely Happy and I really want to thank my contributors to jump the reskin from an ordinary model to the best model for 3 straight days overnight!
So it begins!,After a bit of a pickle with Textures and Joints (All fixed thanks to the community),I am on the road to developing another DLC-ish sequel to HL1,It will feature a Random Black Mesa Researcher in a whole other Sector of Black Mesa! I have edited quite a couple of models to either match the shifts there (Yellow Shifts) and also to match what I wanted in my imagination. There are two bugs tho,One with the Headcrab's forehead deattaching when animated and Barney's Yellow Shirt not really that well drawn (I consider it a laziness problem.),Either way,I Exported them as .MDLs and they appeared inside the game just fine,I wish the rest of the road-maps would be just as smooth as the bare essentials.
