Sonic Forces Green Hill Zone (Classic)

A Map for Sonic Mania

Sonic Forces you to play Green Hill zone for the fifth time in a row.

I didn't have any REAL inspiration aside from one video that's just a Genesis remix of Lost Valley.
So I essentially combined the aesthetics of the Lost Valley mod (AKA putting extra tiles in the background) and made it the Classic version instead. If enough people want it I'll combine them if I get the mod author's permission. Or even better, I'll make my own.

Please note not EVERYTHING is made by me and I don't claim to own absolutely everything. I've credited everyone I need to and respect every author I borrow from.

This mod took around 24 hours to create and polish.

    It was mostly fun but it needs a bigger amount of polish.
    - Some tiles don't match up. Dark tiles are used where light should be, the ground tiles don't line up correctly, some are shaded differently than the ones next to it, some ground tiles aren't even placed in the right location (like grass in midair).
    - There is an incredible amount of full-stops that completely stop the player. Sonic levels are smooth, including Forces Green Hill. I had my momentum taken away several times when that should be kept to a minimum.
    - The rotating palette needs to be assigned to the sand. It looks very static without.
    - The foreground doesn't differ from the background. The colors and tiles are the same... but the collision is different. It shouldn't be that way. At the beginning of the level, there were rings on top of background grass tiles, but those tiles had no collision like the rings suggested. I fell into bottomless pits twice because I couldn't tell what was foreground and what was background. Which brings me into my next point...
    - There are way to many bottomless pits. That should be kept to a minimum. This also goes with the lack of momentum I talked about.
    That's about it but there also aren't that many differing paths and they all converge really quick. Overall it could just use more cleanup with what I talked about.
