Introduction:I noticed many bans lately, not for new members but for old ones, Rip supporters, high positively active members & skilled modders with hundreds of submissions.
OFC that don't make them untouchable, but the story behind the ban still blurry for most of them.
So ban reason will be just like Trash/flag, Maybe the Admins feel uncomfortable about that, but for Banned people, their buddies/subscribers deserve to know the truth.
Yes, there is a couple lines on their profiles (some of them), but that's not enough & here comes my idea.
The main idea:If the ban was by request or duplicate account the reason is pure & simple could be explained with two words.
but when it comes to Abuse, disrespectful to GB staff, breaking the rules, submitting illigal contain or privately sharing unauthorized stuff, this needs some explanation attached with screenshot from conversation/PM/blog/sub that led to the ban.
You can censorship parts that include names, locations & URLs. And OFC keep the other side of the conversation + the admin who did the ban unrevealed.
You can make the reason required but not linked to the ban button, in case many members violations happened so that will not be an obstacle (i guess Tom & Admins know what i mean).
You don't have to do that for previous bans (maybe only for the recent familiar ones), but for the next bans (I hope they will be no more).
Conclusion:I hope this isn't provocative for Admins & Moderators.
This is just an idea, & ideas are bulletproof.
