It is highly recommended to use Hedge Mod Manager to utilise mods with this game. Do not use SonicGMI, as it does not support DLL injection, which quite a lot of mods use now. If you're having any issues with the mod loader, ensure that you have a legitimate copy of the game running the latest version.
