After many, many rounds of testing, we finally managed to decide upon a winner! Space Marbles is a stunning example of what can be done with the physics mechanisms in Source, and it is clear that Joris has put loads and loads of time into this submission, after extensive testing with hundreds of marbles we never found a single glitch or blockage. The maps overall theme and design are stunning, with loads of custom textures and many parts that look like they could have been taken out of a real life marble track. This map goes beyond linear tracks and had us playing it for hours!

A static screenshot really doesn't do this map justice, so we advise you all to download and test out this stunning map in game! It took us a little while to workout which game & engine version to use and how to start the balls rolling - but once we did this map blew us away! It truly is a cinematic masterpiece, with incredible scripted events, music and camera angles! It really shows what the source engine can achieve!

The judges loved this interesting take on the theme and recreation of a classic childhood game! Rotating the environment to give the player control of the marbles motion was a unique feature that we hadn't seen in any other maps, and while the controls were a little hard to master - this added difficulty had us coming back time and time again to try and see if we could master the course!

This map introduced us to the crazy world of Rally Race - a custom CS:GO gamemode! The map was of good length and detail however it felt more like a racing map with a few marbles thrown in as an after thought, rather than a map specifically designed to be a marble track. Still great fun to play on a server with a bunch of mates though!
MT Aztec 5th Place MT Aztec
This map reminded us greatly of the classic Indiana Jones scene, where he is chased by a boulder after stealing the ancient artifact! A great theme and well tested map, but it was just too short, and easy with the whole map lasting under 1 minute and no easy way to reset once complete.
