Caustic Cannon - Acidic Goo-thrower (Model Needed)

A Concept for Team Fortress 2

I had an idea to make a new flamethrower for Tf2 with a all new mechanic: Goop. Acidic Goop that damages players coated in it, or step in it. I thought it would be crazy to have an item that can be used as an area denial situation from a class so close-combat oriented, but then I got some good ideas on how it'd function.

Take a look at the Concept for the Caustic Cannon. I tried to make the model my self, but I'm no master at it. I can, however, make textures.

For any guru's of tf2 weapon modeling, I'd really appreciate it if you can help me make the caustic cannon a new feature in tf2.

For the time being, since trying to add a new weapon to a game is outrageous, I'll settle for a reskin of the Dragon's Fury if possible. I can give more details of the design in a future post if people are interested.

    I'm happy to have everyone's support on this concept. Perhaps you'd like to hear some of my ideas for this weapon.

    Your primary fire is a single blob of goo that has a range based on angle of attack and charge similar to that of the sticky bomb launcher or loose cannon. The longer you hold it, the farther it will go. However, holding the charge too long will flood the pump and cause it shoot goo back at you. In order to balance the weapon, firing rate is decreased based on how much ammo you have. Starting at full firing rate, each shot will gradually drop the firing rate by 5 percent.

    I've considered an idea to replace the standard airblast with a secondary that works as a acid spatter function. Consider it a short range inaccurately spread acid throwing shotgun. Two ways to make this item balanced is to include a high ammo consumption to prevent players from spamming the secondary. If that sounds to overpowered, a solution is to make it a secondary that you have to charge up with damage done, and it will be activated by using the secondary fire key. Once activated, primary fire will scatter goo instead of launching a goo ball.

    I think Pyros should be immune to the gas since they have a Gas mask on, you know? The downside to that is that it'll make them slower, and once they leave the cloud, it'll last five seconds.

    Edit: I misread pile of goo as gas, and I'm sorry for that. I still think Pyros should be somewhat immune to it though.
