I've had the idea for the longest time, but as far as I know the idea behind submitting unusual effects wasn't permitted on the TF2's Workshop. That is, at least till recently.
I've wanted to shoot for a shooting/falling star unusual effect that can be applied to hat/misc items. But currently I'm just a hand drawn/vector artist. So I thought I'd try here by tossing up a concept piece to see if anyone is interested.
I thought the concept seemed sound, I was thinking they'd fall at an angel starting infront of them and then falling towards the character ), and when they ran they'd fall a little further back behind them.
I wanted to make the objects distinguishable from say, the spell unusual effects which had falling bits of fire. So I thought the best course of action was to keep a simple star, but have it so that it produces light around it to keep it bright and noticeable, while not bright enough to completely hide the star itself. So that you could clearly make it that it is suppose to be a falling star, with a little cartoon animation to it.
The scout was just used because this ended up being a new Steam avatar for myself as well. He's utilizing one of the cosmetic loadouts that I actually use in game ( you can see it [here](http://files.gamebanana.com/img/ss/sprays/5579bbc252b05.jpg "") ingame ). The OC Pegasus is a character I created, I have a tendency to use her and Stargazer as a sort of copyright type bit on some of my art because I hate putting text and nonsense to do that.
If anyone is interested, all I ask is to be credited for the concept btw and that's all. Preferibly to my steam account below:
Thanks you for your time.
