Today (ironically, on 9/11), I've been unfairly suspended yet again. After going to my alt account to gather all of my old mutuals and give them my contacts, that account was automatically suspended by the bots. You know, the same ones that kicked my anti-cheat group off the platform for absolutely no reason.
While Twitter is infamous for their absolutely horrible customer support, a classmate had told me, coincidentally just hours before the incident, about a story in which he managed to get his account back by harassing Twitter staff into submission.
The last time I had tried this, I was cut off from talking to said staff members as they muted me, closed their DMs, and moved on. Very professional of you to just ignore your consumer's complaints, Twitter.
So I've been forced to send an email, even if it 99.99999% won't work:
I've been falsely accused of Hateful Conduct. I often use my account for shitposting (posting edgy jokes and/or memes) and sometimes for political debate, albiet very rarely. I've been targeted by a group of foreigners who were harassing me two months ago for being an All Lives Matter advocate. I really don't want any god damn trouble. I've been suspended so many times now and it's getting to the point where you have to learn that I'll just keep making new accounts. If you wan't me to stop getting around your pushy, aggressive moderation, then give me my account back and give me a second chance to redeem myself. I'm sick and tired of constantly being caught in the crossfire of twitter staff just because someone, somewhere, does not respect my opinion or beliefs. I don't like choosing sides. I don't like the "right or left", I dont like Trump and I don't like social justice warriors. I just want everyone to think about things logically, and that's what I try to do whenever I make a serious statement, no matter how outlandish it may seem. I don't have the deliberate intention of harming others. Racism is something I take extremely seriously. A lot of people have called me racist in the past. The truth is, I have nothing against people of a certain color or ethnicity. I just want everyone to be treated like an equal. Unfortunately people sometimes treat me as a lower being for being white. My somewhat strange sense of humor is something a lot of younger people on Twitter are very new to. They don't understand how to take a joke. I don't want to make fun of people for their race or sexuality. I poke at these subjects because I'm making fun of the obvious wrongdoings of those against these people. If i make a racist joke, that doesn't mean I'm endorsing racism--something I would absolutely never do. So for the love of god, give me my account back. The trolls who got me suspended will continue to terrorize other innocent users if you give them the sense of victory that you have just given them. If you do not reinstate @apaintbucket, I will continue to push emails to your staff until you do. I will not hesitate to get my account back, no matter what it takes. So this was certainly a wild ride. Twitter has been a huge part of my life for 2 years and it's the only viable option for communicating with large amounts of people simultaneously, as Discord simply is too closed off.
However due to Twitter's very public and open nature, I've been no stranger to controversy and bullying over the years, to the point where I have in the past considered leaving the platform.
Twitter's staff has a massive bias towards people who participate in cancel culture, political agendas, blind support of whatever's popular, etc. Ironically these people tend to get suspended too.
The person who hunted me down to get me banned for basically no reason, infact, I believe had been banned because of his continued poor treatment towards me in the past.
Lets all hope that, out of nowhere, I get my account back.
In the mean time, I might as well continue that abandoned "Lightbox" social media project from 2 years ago. Maybe there will be a sliver of hope there.
