If you don't like this new default, don't worry, you can go back to the old ways. All you need to do is find the NavOptions nav menu and select
Secondary Nav Mode.
- Float: Default, nav floats below the primary nav.
- Dock: Previously called Expanded. Nav always stays open and the content is adjusted. Only for big screens.
- Strip: Previously called Collapsed. Nav is on the side and opens on rollover.
- Slide: Previously called Hidden. Should only be used when the
Site Justificationis Left or Right, and the
Secondary Nav Positionshould be the same (Left or Right) as the Site Justification. Also, your browser should be maximized. When these conditions are true, the nav should work well, appearing only when you run the mouse to the very edge of your screen.
Note that there have been some minor aesthetic changes, particularly the indicator style. This is subject to change and also you can customize it with a theme. Also note that if you have an uberstyle or theme installed it may need some updating as underlying styles have changed.
The other big change is the SPA experiment has officially ended. I had big ambitions for the SPA functionality but unfortunately the chat just didn't get very popular. It will remain, but will reload each time you navigate around. With the removal of SPA a lot of lingering bugs and annoyances should now be gone.
If you see any bugs please let me know!
