Analyzes a map to discover and pack custom content

PackBsp is a program that makes it easy for mappers to embed custom models, textures, and other assets into their maps for many games based on Valve's Source engine. It analyzes both the map and your custom models/textures/etc to determine exactly what is needed, packaging everything into a single BSP file.

It is intended to replace the aging and abandoned PakRat program.

    Any tool like this for goldsource?

    I'm trying to make a map for cs 1.6 and cannot find the way to pack my custom sky in the map.

    Any link that can help??

    Basically, yeah. At each step of the way, it reads the file (Like an MDL, a VMT, or a soundscape, etc.) and figures out what the next things needed are. If the dependencies are inside the default game GCFs it skips it since it "knows" anyone playing your map will already have it.

    Unlike Pakrat, PackBsp can tell when an important file is really missing (instead of just in the GCFs) and it's not four years old so it does newer stuff like particle manifests.

    wait ,so this will automaticly pack the custom content without me having to manualy point to it (like in pakrat)
